To fund a three year PhD scholarship, an agreement with the Politecnico di Milano must be signed and in particular with the Department with which the candidate is involved.
To start in November, the agreement must be signed before 31st March, in order to manage it within the selection procedure for the relevant public call for PhD positions. Additional agreements can be signed by the end of the January - beginning of February, to open specific industrial Ph.D. positions starting in May.
The implementation procedures and research topics will be agreed with the professor who will be the thesis supervisor. The formal contract must be approved by the Department. For the general rules please consult this website.
The Department will provide all the information about the scholarship and the related costs. A tax credit may be available for the scholarships.
