Rankings

At the end of the assessments, each Selection Committee draws up a ranking list, according to the criteria set out in the call

  •     for each programme or for each area, if areas are available.
  •     a ranking list for each thematic scholarship.

Places, with or without scholarships, will be allocated by the Selection Committee according to the order defined by the related ranking lists.

Candidates who rank in positions that make them eligible for more than one scholarship, will be assigned one of these possible scholarships by the Selection Committee.

Candidates who do not accept the scholarships assigned by the committee, cannot benefit from other scholarships on the same PhD programme.

In the case of having the same score, gender balance is taken into account (the gender that prevails is the less represented one among candidates placed in higher positions of the same ranking list). Where there are further equal results, the younger candidate will prevail.

The rankings will be published starting from 20th July 2023 in the current webpage

No personal communications will be sent: the publication of the Ranking list is valid as official communication to the interested parties.

Rankings - 39th Cycle - 2023/2024 (starting September 2023)

N.B.

1) You can check your detailed score by accessing your online admission procedure in Online Services.

2) If your name is not on the Ranking list, it means that the score given to you by the Admissions Board is lower than the minimum required by the Call (60/100).
You will NOT be able to enroll in this phase nor in the subsequent Replacement phase.

3)"ELIGIBLE" means that you CANNOT enroll, nor upload online any outstanding documents related to the application (Qualification certificates/ English language certificates). After the end of the enrolment period, where there are vacancies as a result of refusals, each PhD programme may offer the enrolment to eligible candidates following the ranking order. In such cases, the enrolment procedure will be directly communicated to the interested candidates. These candidates must however have already been awarded the required academic qualification and the English language certification by the 11/09/2023.

4) Candidates ADMITTED must accept the place and enroll, with or without scholarship, from 10.00 AM on the 21st of July 2023 to 02.00 PM (Italian time C.E.T.) on the 11th of September 2023 using the online admission procedure, otherwise they will be excluded from the competition (art. 7 of the Call).

Please note: The Selection Committee had the right to contact the candidate and / or the referees for an interview or to obtain further information (e.g. reference letters): if it has not done so, it means that it has not considered it necessary for the purposes of the evaluation.
